Trip to Provo - April

Mark and I have been looking forward to this trip for a long time. On this trip we will do so many things!

First we went to Provo: We stopped into the Provo Recreation Center to surprise Marissa at work. She was up in the exercise center.

So happy to see her!!

After seeing Marissa at the rec center, Mark and I went to hike the Y. Mark has hiked it many times but I have never hiked it. I'm so excited.

The hike was super steep but the view was awesome! We could see all of BYU and all the way to the Utah Lake.

We made it all the way to the top!!! I'm so excited!!!

Later we went over to Canyon Glen Park. Mark lived in this area when he was only 9 years old. It was a walk down memory lane for him. I enjoyed hearing all his memories of what he and his brothers did while they lived here.

Back on campus we ran into Brandon White's nephew. He saw us and recognized us. So nice!!! Robert knew him throughout his time at BYU. Awesome! I love a small world.

That night after dinner we went over to Provo Canyon to play basketball. Mark used to play basketball here when he went to BYU, and Robert loved playing here for the past year.

The next day we had our traditional IHOP breakfast before heading up to tour Marissa's mission. It was so nice to have everyone together one more time. These times where everyone can get together are getting harder and harder to organize. Devon is dating Sierra - they are such a cute couple. She wasn't able to join us. Jessica and Tate are so happy to be expecting their baby boy. She is super excited to be finished with her Thesis and graduate from school next year. Marissa is happy to have adjusted back to school. She had such a great semester and met some great friends. Robert had a super fantastic first year. We feel so blessed!!!!
