Grandma Rennhack is in hospice

So I talked to my Grandma Rennhack tonight, she is 94 years old - amazing.

However, she's not been answering her phone and it caused concern.  Tonight I got a hold of her.  She's been in and out of the hospital for the past 4 weeks due to her bad heart... :(

On top of that she's had to falls - one that hurt her elbow and one where she broke her foot - really bad.  Instead of breaking across the bone, it broke long wise down the bone.

Things are not looking good.  She is now on hospice which means the doctors believe she has between 3-6 months to live.  I am so sad at the thought; I shouldn't be sad - for heaven's sake, she's 94 years old... but she's all I've got left from my mom's side of the family.

My mom passed away almost 25 years ago, grandpa passed away about 7 years ago.  Although I don't see her but once or twice a year, she is a rock to me.  She's always had such a good attitude and always tried to be Christ-like and have a Christian attitude.  She's always getting along and making the best of every situation.

She's so cute - she's only 4'10" tall, and she's legally blind - probably even more than that but she's always been such a fun little grandma.

I am going up to see her this weekend.
