We leave the house around 8:30 to pick up Meg and get to the stake center early. The game starts at 9:00 am. Well, to start with our team is down one player, Meg O'Brien has a foot injury and can't play. The game is intense - both teams playing a very tight defense. Unfortunately in the last 2 minutes of the game two of Marissa's teammates, Allison Cavanah and Chauntel Cromarty go for a loose ball and hit heads. Allison has to come out of the game. We lose the game 12-17. Later we found out the Allison suffered four fractures to her face. (poor thing). Marissa had a good game with two great steals!
After Marissa's game we load up the van and head over to the track meet.
