Laurel Lane Ladies celebrate "freedom"

It's tradition - once the kids go back to school the Ladies of Laurel Lane meet at the Summit Starbucks for a reprieve. It's so wonderful to get together with friends without the distractions of being interrupted by phone calls, "mom, can you...", "mom, so-in-so just ...", etc.

Maureen was there first, then Fran, Paula, Betsy fourth (she had to stop and get a caffeine free diet coke, and finally Kelly. The fab five are together again. Super!!!

It is especially nice for me. These friends are like family to me. My sisters live in Washington State and the Washington DC area - nowhere near me.
