First Day of School

The First day of school was Wednesday, August 12 - for some reason it seemed like it came early - but it was the same time that it is every year since moving to Kentucky - always the second Wednesday of the month. Summer seemed so short this year - I was glad for the kids to get some better structure and routine back in their life, and to get back into learning (not wasting time), but I really am sad to have them gone. We had a great summer together!

This year Jessica is a Junior, Devon is a Freshman, Marissa is in 7th grade and Robert is in 5th. This is the last year for Robert to be in elementary school and consiquently - my last year of having a child in elementary school. NO WAY! How can that be...
