A Trip of Their Own!

Jessica and Marissa went to Cleveland, OH to visit "Our Neighbors that moved away". We miss having the Staffanson's family just outside our back door. The girls were so excited when Mark said he had a business trip in the area, and he could drop them off and then pick them up a few days later. Marla was thrilled with the idea too, so it was set.

Monday, Jessica and Marissa loaded up the car with Mark and left me with the two boys. It was the stranges feeling watching them leave. My heart split in two. They weren't even gone that long and I already missed them. They have grown up so much that we are friends (don't worry - I'm still the moma!) and I love it! Jessica and Marissa couldn't wait to see Emma, Gracie, Davy and their newest arrival, Evan! Marla and Evan, Gracie and Jessica, Emma, Marissa and Davy Marissa holding Evan - how tender!

Jessica adores Evan - even when he's crancky.

While there they all went to a water park/pool. That was brave of Marla! Way to go! Jessica and Marissa had a great time playing with the kids. I think it's great. They can adopt them as their younger (much younger) siblings and I'm off the hook...hee, hee.

Three beauties - Marissa, Gracie and Emma.

On the same trip, Marla and Dave took them to visit Kirtland, OH. What a special treat. We've wanted to go there, and even planned for it last year (but Cancun won out). Jesssica and Marissa loved going to Kirtland and seeing the Temple. They are studying these very places in Sunday School at church. Jessica will be participating in a Youth Conference that is a Pioneer Trek. This was perfect timing!
