It was the perfect day for the High School 2A State Championship Race. The race was at 12:15 and the weather was around 60 degrees. There was a semi-strong breeze that added a level of strategy to the run, but other than that - it was perfect. There were approximately 400 runners ready to take off - every one wanting to chase South for the state title or runner up slot.
